Obituary of John P. Venonsky

John P. Venonsky, 88, of King of Prussia, PA, died on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at his home in King of Prussia. Born in Upper Merion, PA on December 16, 1925, John had been living in King of Prussia since 1952 when he designed and built his home. He was always working on his next architectural project. John loved nature and the outdoors. In addition to his joy of fishing, he meticulously planned his flower garden for each season of the year. John was a Retired Draftsman and Project Manager; he worked with sheet metal and commercial AC systems. After retiring, he spent his winters with his wife Laura in Naples, FL, where he served as Treasurer of the Landings Condominium Association for 18 years. He was a member of Fr. Tomko Assembly of 4th degree Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife Laura (Wolfrom) Venonsky of King of Prussia, with whom he would have celebrated his 62nd Anniversary on September 13th; daughters, Judy (Michael) Venonsky Rothwell of Pennington, NJ and Karen (Scott) Bolendz of Bradenton, FL; son, David (Constance) Venonsky of Chester Springs, PA; brother, Brother Joseph Venonsky of St. Andrews Abbey of Cleveland, OH; and sisters, Monica Aqualanti of Bridgeport, PA, Florence "Flossy" Brady of Norristown, PA, and Betty Lupo of Norristown, PA. John is also survived by 3 Grandchildren, Ashley Venonsky, Jessica Venonsky, and Sean Rothwell. Along with his parents, John P. Venonsky and Mary (Remar) Venonsky, he was preceded in death by two Brothers, Michael Venonsky & Frank Venonsky, and two Sisters, Theresa Venonsky, and Rosemary Blischok. His funeral mass will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the St. Gertrude RC Church, Bullock & Merion Avenue, West Conshohocken, Pa 19428. Friends may call on Monday morning from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
