Betsy Mace, 54, of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 10, 1959, Betsy was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA before settling in Schwenksville, PA where she had lived since 1985. She graduated from Cabrini College and received her Master's in Education from Gwynedd Mercy College. Betsy worked with Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA until she received her teaching degree, then she started teaching with Norristown School District and spent many years teaching at Hancock Elementary School. Survivors include her Husband, John Mace of Schwenksville, PA; Daughters, Emily (& Matt) Scaglione of Bradley Beach, NJ, Amanda Mace of Schwenksville, PA, Anne Dugan of Philadelphia, PA, and Joan Davis of Philadelphia, PA; Brother, Francis Davis of Marlton, NJ; and In Laws, Herbert & Lucille Mace Blue Bell, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the St. Helena RC Church, 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Clergy: Msgr. Joseph J. Nicolo will be officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the church. Interment at Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Betsy's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.
