Carl H. Wager, 72, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Pottstown, PA on April 15, 1943, Carl has been living in Collegeville, Pa for the last 39 years, formerly of Norristown, Pa. He was a member of Trinity Reformed Church of Collegeville, Pa. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, where he received the National Defense Service Medal and was honored with the Expert Rifle Badge and the Marksman Badge. Carl had worked as a machinist with Philadelphia Gear Corp of King of Prussia, Pa for 23 years, then with Superior Tube Company of Collegeville, Pa for 10 years before he retired. He enjoyed Fishing, watching NASCAR and riding his motorcycle. He will be sadly missed by His Loving Wife of 50 years, Cheryl L. Wager of Collegeville, PA, Mother: Ellen (Boyer) Wager of Sanatoga, PA, Daughter: Shannon (& Dave) Conard of Trappe, PA, and Granddaughter: Courtney; Also survived by a niece Lisa Harris of Pottsgrove, Pa and her children Amanda & Shane and a nephew Jeffrey Hofmann and his wife Margie and their daughter Samantha. Along with his father, Carl C. Wager, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Hofman. His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, Pa. Friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
