John T. "Jack" McCann, 78, of King of Prussia, Pa passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. He was born in Conshohocken, PA on September 4, 1937. Jack has lived in the King of Prussia Area for over 50 years, formerly of West Conshohocken & Conshohocken, Pa. He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa. Jack served in the US Marines and the US Army, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, on July 24, 1990 he received the Army Accommodation Medal from Gov. Casey, and in 1995 the Kemp Award from the US Army. He was a member of Valley Forge Marine Corp League, Norristown VFW, and American Legion. He worked as a Police Officer with Conshohocken & West Conshohocken Police Departments and also as a Security Officer with SEI. Jack was a former member of George Clay Fire Company of West Conshohocken, Pa and Washington Fire Company of Conshohocken, Pa. Son of the late Frank & Mary ( O'Neil ) McCann. Survivors include his Wife: Alyce (Benson) McCann of King of Prussia, PA, and children from his previous marriage, Daughter: Diana (& Mark) Adams of Sinking Springs PA, Daughter: Darlene (& Walter) Singleton of Mont Clare PA, Son: John Douglas (& Denise) McCann of Audubon PA. Also Survived By 10 Grandchildren & 10 Great Grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Thomas, William, Joseph & James McCann, and 2 Sisters Kathleen Borusiewicz & Frances Zorkowski. His Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 10:30 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken. Friends may call on Tuesday Morning from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken PA 19428. Interment will take place at 2:30 PM on Tuesday September 29, 2015 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 1 Indiantown Gap Road Annville, PA 17003.
