Joseph was a member of Saint Eleanor RC Church. He worked as a member of the Carpenter's Union of Philadelphia for 30 years. Upon his retirement, he drove a school bus for the Perkiomen Valley School district until 5 years ago. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and recieved the National Defense Medal and Good Conduct Medal for his service. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.
